Bringing a new puppy home is very exciting but it’s also important to prepare in advance to set them up to succeed and make the process easier on ourselves.
Puppies have a critical learning period which means what we teach them in the early days really does set them up for the adult dog they will become. (they will not grow out of unwanted and problematic behaviours, so best to start good habits early).
It’s also really hard work being a puppy! The ideal time to get in touch with me is before your puppy arrives. By being prepared and confident in your home setup and what to expect, you can focus on the joys of puppyhood whilst we also work through the training and bonding steps together.
New Puppy First Steps:
Designed for the first few weeks of having your puppy, this gets you off to a great start.
We will cover the importance of sleep, a puppy routine, home set up, toilet training, appropriate play, bonding, what socialisation and habituation mean, mouthing, jumping, and introducing obedience skills.
We will also discuss the breed of your puppy and how they learn.

Five follow up sessions to guide you in the important steps, skills and preparing for adolescence (it comes up sooner than you think!).
Including: environmental exposure, building neutrality, alone time, lead walking, recall, socialisation and dogs.

Our Pro Puppy package is designed to provide you with complete support and guidance from the moment you bring your new puppy home through their critical early months.

For those who prefer a more flexible approach to puppy training, we offer the option to book individual follow-up sessions as needed. Each session is priced at £95 and provides personalised, one-on-one guidance tailored to your puppy’s specific needs.
These sessions focus on the areas where you and your puppy need the most support. Whether you require extra help with lead walking, recall, socialisation, or addressing any new challenges that arise, our individual sessions ensure you receive targeted assistance.
